The best TGI Fridays appetizers are shareable, flavorful, and able to be recreated at home. In 2023, I’m not trying to go to a TGI Fridays. I’m trying to bring TGI Fridays to me.
I love a crispy and/or cheesy bite that I can toss into an air fryer. Who doesn’t? And being able to assemble an appetizer platter from the comfort of my own kitchen is wonderful. I’ve said this time and time again: TGI Fridays should stop being a restaurant and start exclusively selling their appetizers in the freezer section of grocery stores. Their frozen apps are superb. Here is our list of all the TGI Fridays appetizers from worst to best.

Mozzarella Sticks with Marinara SauceWalmartThis was the only TGI Fridays frozen appetizer that disappointed us here at Sporked. They were fine but forgettable. They reminded me of mozzarella sticks you get at a movie theater or bowling alley. They get the job done, but they’re nothing to write home about. Plus, the marinara sauce is not our favorite. It’s very sweet and tastes too much like dried oregano.

Honey BBQ Chicken WingsTargetThese are a little flabby, but they still taste good! They cooked up quickly and had a great shiny glaze to them. The honey BBQ flavor is on point. I wouldn’t choose these over the boneless version, but I would eat a bunch of these dunked in ranch if they were out at a party.

Honey BBQ Boneless Chicken BitesWalmartAs I said, these are way better than the bone-in version. The honey BBQ sauce is delicious. I wish they’d bottle this up and sell it. These remind me of when KFC sold popcorn chicken (a very good time).

TGIF!
Spinach & Artichoke Cheese DipWalmartThis spinach and artichoke dip was polarizing in our office. Some people thought it tasted a little too much like canned artichokes, but I loved it. It’s so creamy and warm and salty. I would happily demolish this whole thing with tortilla chips by myself while sitting on the couch and watching an old season of The Bachelor.

TGIF!
Buffalo Boneless Chicken BitesWalmartTGI Fridays really does buffalo right. These are definitely one of the best TGI Fridays appetizers we tried. Their buffalo sauce is so creamy and tangy. The chicken is juicy. I might even choose these over regular bone-in buffalo wings. They don’t even really need ranch or blue cheese dressing. I can’t believe I’m saying these things!

TGIF!
Cheddar & Bacon Loaded Potato SkinsTargetThis TGI Fridays frozen appetizer tastes exactly like a TGI Fridays appetizer from the restaurant. I am truly thankful for that, because these have always been a personal favorite. These loaded potato skins are so cheesy and bacon-y and perfectly greasy. I like to eat these with sour cream, sliced green onions, and (please leave me alone) ketchup.

TGIF!
Popper Cream Cheese Stuffed Jalapeños with Raspberry Habanero DipWalmartThe cream cheese stuffed jalapeño poppers are the best of all the TGI Fridays appetizers we tried. The filling is creamy, the pepper is perfectly spicy, and the batter is the ideal thickness. The best part, though, is the dipping sauce. The raspberry-habanero dip is the perfect complement to the poppers. I could eat hundreds of these in one sitting if given the chance (and enough Tums).
